The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Law "On State Regulation of Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol, Cognac and Fruit Alcohol, Alcohol Beverages and Tobacco Goods" (re Import and Export of Alcohol)

The Law harmonizes definition of the term "cognac alcohol" used in Clause 1 of the Law "On State Regulation of Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol, Cognac and Fruit Alcohol, Alcohol Beverages and Tobacco Goods" with the Law "On Grapes and Wine" and the national standard 4700:2006 "Cognacs of Ukraine. Technical Terms."

A draft is registered under Reg. No 6379.
